I am using a fluid model of a tool to do temperature analysis. But I am getting only 98000 nodes and 480000 elements.
I tried doing the hex and tetrahedron but hex is failing showing a warning that mesh on one or more faces failed and with tetrahedron I am getting quad meshing. Can anyone tell me how to make meshing to get equal number of nodes and elements with hexahedral meshing? |

why would you want that? The numbers never really line up, nor should they. If you have a square divided in 4 equal pieces, you'll have 9 nodes with 4 cells.
Also, there is a specific subforum for fluent questions - it's clearly addressed in the header of this forum to "not post fluent questions here". please move your post to the right location |
