Mach Cone FAR from BODY (exact/true properties)

I am interested in understanding the real natural mach cone (not oversimplified incorrect inviscid models) and atmospheric properties "far" from the supersonic body over time. Such as:
How large does the mach cone "grow"? How does it dissipate? How does it affect the atmosphere? How does nose geometry affect the mach cone or cone-like formation? Which inexpensive/free code or codes would you recommend I start with? I hope to run the software on an Intel Pentium I (100MHz) using Linux or MS Windows. (You'd be surprised what I can run on this machine). Regards, Dwight Altman |
