Hi there,

I need to know wether or not it is possible to transfer the the output from one calculation as input for another calculation. I do use FLUENT. I know that I am able to transfer data within the same calculation between two not connected surfaces. But I want to start a calculation, e.g. calculate a channel flow and transfer the velocity profile at the outlet to a second calculation and use it as an velocity inlet boco. Is that possible using FLUENT.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sincerely

Mannobot

Write a BOUNDARY PROFILE and then read it into the next case.

There's 2+ tutorials in the Fluent manual. Press F1.
