Hi all,

I was wondering if somebody has come across an analogue of the Yap correction [Yap. C. J. (1987)] which consists of a modification of the epsilon equation in the form of an extra source term, S_e, added to the right hand side of the epsilon equation.
Usage of this extra term in the epsilon equation has been reported to suppress the near wall turbulent transport. It has been seen to improve the (usually overpredicted) near wall heat transfer characteristics in many cases.

I would be grateful if anybody shares any information regarding this term (or its analogue) in k-omega class of models.
