Hi, I do not understand why in Comsol a simple cylinder with diameter 20 mm x 400 mm length, turbulent flow k-e, input air with 25 m/s averaged velocity, fully developed flow, 0 Pa outlet pressure, shows a cylinder wall averaged velocity of 14.736 m/s and not 0 m/s as it is supposed because of no slip condition.
Does the software calculate an average on boundary and interior nodes values? Please I would appreciate if someone can explain me this question. Last edited by rnzabaleta; February 29, 2020 at 08:12. Reason: attachment |
