sbro is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I'm running steady-state simulations on a remote HPC and want to monitor lift coefficients (lift and drag) for each iteration to check for convergence.

I've created a monitor for each in the setup case file on my local machine and set to write to file but, unfortunately, the file doesn't appear to have been written and showing in the outputted list of files. I also set each monitor to plot to console, but it doesn't show in the 'output' file alongside the residuals for each iteration.

I'm unsure why the file hasn't been written despite setting up the case to do so and don't know if there is anyway to recover / relaunch a monitor plot within the loaded solution (.dat) file? I haven't written any kind of instruction in my journal file regarding monitors so don't know if that's something I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
