Hi all,
I'm curious if there is a software that can do a simple calculation. Figure out the radiation transferred from a point source, to some walls in 3D. (in fact many point sources) I attached an image. Basicly, a simple point source with a few simple 3d walls behind it. I want to calculate, ideally, the energy intensity on the wall. or the view factor (same thing essentially) Any suggestions? To me, this sounds so simple, like there should be some freeware stuff, but everything seems to be high end software that I don't even know if it can do such simple task. I should have joined sooner. but thanks for any tips! |

too clarify, I'm looking for "incident radiation"
ie. Ir = (4 π r^2)/Q So this isn't really fluid dynamics, just radiation model. And any software that can visually determine the surface radiation received would be great. free and simple is my most desirable |
