Hi,
I am trying to run a very simple 2D fluidized bed using DDPM and wish to initialize the simulation with a certain bed height. I went through the papers and some online discussions but I am unable to find a satisfactory explanation of the method. One method that is mentioned in some of the papers that I read is the particle injection method. For that I would need the particle diameter, mass flow rate and the time range. So, do I need to know the actual total mass that needs to be injected and then define arbitrary mass flow rate for a calculated time that can fill in the domain with required mass. Or there is some other parameter to find that the particles of desired diameter value have filled the required bed height. Any help on the steps that I should follow to define the initialization height in DDPM would be appreciated. |
