Hello everyone,
I am doing a formula type car external flow simulation and changing just one part between simulations. I really want to know if i just remove the changed part and remesh, then solve with previous simulation flow field as an initial condition. Is it cause to error or decrease solution time? (It is segregated and steady flow) Anyone has experience about it? Thanks ^^ Halit, |

It varies with what software you are using how to actually do what you are saying. But yes, it's generally a good practice to do so.
Can it decrease simulation time? Absolutely. Does it cause any errors? Not any new errors that you wouldn't have encountered anyway. |
