General mathematic CFD question related

Hi everyone!

It seems easy, but I don't know if I miss something here.

I'm wondering if the author made a mistake/typo by omitting to add the correction factor from equation 38 in the equation 41?

I'm doing math operation to find the source term for closing the equation and I'm wondering of I should use this term (eq.38) in the equation 41.
