Hello Everyone, I have to perform a CFD study to analyze the radiation effect from the sun on the pool of water in open atmosphere surrounded by buildings. The buildings were also modelled to capture the shading effect on the pool.
Here we have considered Surface to surface, solar ray tracing modelling approach with two fluid zones (1. Pool-water and 2. Surrounding atmosphere-air) in ANSYS FLUENT 2020 R1. The Pool surface thermal and radiative properties were defined and tried to run the simulation. But the simulation keeps on diverging. When we run the entire setup with only air as fluid in both pool and surrounding atmosphere, the simulation seems to run fine and is giving reasonable results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
