Hi
I am working on Cyclone Separator. i am facing convergence related problem. I am using k-e model for starting purposes and solution only converges at 3 m/s and if velocity is increased than solution doesn't converge . if RSM model is used that solution doesn't even converge at 3 m/s. In DPM steel is injected with uniform diameter with inlet velocity of 3 m/s. In methods pressure is solve using standard technique and kinetic energy and dissipation rate are being solve using second order upwind scheme. Solver setting is pressure based and steady state analysis is being done in Ansys. Any suggestions regarding convergence will be highly appreciated. |
