Hi,
I´m trying to do a CFD siimulation of a heatsink made of aluminium metal foam in forced and natural convection cases. I tried to do it as porous zone in ANSYS Fluent but I could not find any study/report with described setup to check it up if my results are correct. I have a datasheet of aluminium foam with properties I need, I calculated viscous and inertial resistance. But Im not sure how to do the simulation for natural convection, because both values are dependent on pressure difference and velocity which is both 0 in natural convection.
