Mass transfer in packed bed

Hello Foamers
Actually my problem is related to tritium sweeping through packed bed, which is like some particles are sweeping by using fluid through some porous media. So, mass transfer treatment can be seen as heat transfer treatment. I am thinking of two approaches:
1. Use the multi region solver and run different species equations for different regions.Because in solid convection mode of transfer wouldn't work. Here, the problem is of interface BC. I don't have idea how to deal the BCs at the solid and liquid interfaces?
2. Second approach : Using the concept of overall Heat transfer coefficient , can we model something like over all mass transfer coefficient? However, I didn't find much of references regarding this.
Please comment on this !

Hello can you please tell me how to proceed with calculating heat transfer coefficient in packed bed. I did the hydrodynamic study but I am unable to proceed to find the heat transfer coefficient.
