Hi, this may be also OpenFOAM question, but I thought it would be better to ask at main forum since is not about techinque in software but characteristic of the model

I was running CFD in axisymmetric mesh with k-epsilon model, (axisymmetric here means not just axisymmetric property, but actually modeled about one cell for circumferential direction with wedge wall condition) and it required a few iterations for pressure (well, actually somewhere just below hundred so maybe lot).

However, when I switched model to realizable k-epsilon model, it crashed just after about 1 percent of total iteration I need, and I first suspected that it may be due to some compressiblity problem, but it was same for incompressible case. So, I think this may be due to some natural unstability in realizable model, but is it true? Would setting relaxation factor help?
