Hi, I'm after a rigorous method that may allow validation of a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. I've got a 3D CFD model (i.e. calculated velocities are known) and the corresponding measurements of point velocities of the real-life flow field. Apart from a straight line regression between observed and calculated velocities, what else can I do? I've been told that a non-parametric sign test may be the way to go, how would I go about setting this up for this situation (I know a little about non-parametric statistics)?
Cheers, Matthew. |
