i am doing an LES calculation using the standard smagorinsky model, but want to introduce an anisotropic subgrid model.
does anyone know of any relatively simple models for dealing with anisotropy at the subgrid level, due to an anisotropic grid. any references would be useful, as would any examples of code that i could learn from. H |

Scotti and Meneveau, Physics of Fluids. (can't remember the year though, it is sometime in the mid-90s)
