Hallo, I have a set of PIV and LDV data for a fluidzied bed (air-water). On a vertical plane, the data are: X, Y, Vx, Vy, Sx, Sy: where Sx and Sy are the root mean square of the velocity components.

Can any one tell me whether these velocity components are liquid velocity, or combined velocity (bubble and liquid)? I am not an experimentalist
