Hi, all:
Could anyone please tell me how to specity the inflow condition, particularly the inflow velocity, for the liquid fuel pool fires? When I use the gas fuel, the inflow velocity can be calculated from the burner heat release rate, the area of the burner, the density and the heat of combustion of the fuel. Is this still the case for the liquid fuel or do I need to adjust some of the variables? (I assume the inflow velocity for the liquid fuels should be much less than the gas fuels). Any help or advice will be appreciated. |
