All CFD Expert, i have a question about the Relationsship between the convective Courant Number and the Convergence of the Residuals.
I do now a simulation of VOF(Light- und Heavefluid). If i reduce the timestep, the Residual decrease. Can sombody explain the Relationsship between them? 1000000000 Thanks |

Look at how the residual is calculated in the code and how it depends on time step or CFL.
I cannot say anything more without knowing the definition of the residual in your code. |
