We recently purchased a MacPro w/ 8Gb of ram to be dedicated to fluent calculations. Along with the Mac OS, we have a 1TB drive with Windows Vista on it. The machine is operated in Vista using Mac's Boot Camp program.
When we operate in serial, the license is found and we do not have any errors. However, when fluent is ran in parallel, the following error occurs: RPC RCX_INIT_LICENSE failed: RPC: Timed out Unexpected license problem; exiting. We have a similar machine with the primary OS being Windows Vista. The license files and fluent settings are all the same, and there are no problems in running fluent in parallel. Has anyone seen a similar problem? Would operating Vista using boot camp affect the parallel processing licenses? Any help would be nice. Thanks |
