dear all

recently, the flow of circle cyliner is simulated by solving the 3d compressible NS equations with Ma=0.5 and Re=1e5. the drag and lift coefficient is Cd=1.5, Cy=0.02 respectively. 50 periods are statistic. the pressure coefficient at front station point is 1.08? is it right?

regards.

Ago I got similar Cp >1.0 using artificial compressiblity method for incompressible flow. If Cp= (p- p_\infty ) / 0.5 \rho (V_\infty)**2, the result seems wrong. When I refine the mesh, Cp approaches 1.0, although slightly greater.
