Absy is on a distinguished road
Hello,
I am running a FSI calculation on software is developed by my lab members. I am trying to run a pipe with a uniform velocity profile at the inlet but I am getting leakage in the flow by 11%.
the another problem is the maximum velocity is not twice of the mean velocity even if the cylinder is long enough for full development.

lenght of cylinder: 0.02 meter
Diameter: 0.003
inlet velocity (mean velocity): 0.1
Rho: 1000 kg/m3
Mu: 0.003 kg/m.sec
outlet boundary: free outlet

any idea about why I am getting this leakage?

when I try to apply a parapolic constant velocity profile in the inlet
I dont get those problems.
any one can help?
thx
