hello cfdites... for those automotive -cfd aerodynamics engineers here
1) what decides the no. of blades on a rad/cond fan? I have usually seen 5/6. 2) I have done simulation on Front end with less (3) blades, and it shows a almost same mass flow rates/ avg velocities. I think at higher speeds, more no. of blades will probably create some ram effect( less, but still it will be there) which will slightly reduce the air. So, i just needed you people's advice in this topic. Cheers...Tushar |
