I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the popularity of the OpenGL *.gmv (General Mesh Viewer) file format. More importantly, what are the chances of it becoming popular in the future? Is its popularity tied to the General Mesh Viewer itself, or are other applications beginning to use it as well.
One well known CFD code Kiva outputs its data in this format. Are there any other well known CFD or FE codes that are also able to output their data in this format? Thanks |
