Boundary layer at air/porous medium interface -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Chrsty New Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Posts: 3 Rep Power: 15	Can Fluent solve for the boundary layer between a fluid and a porous medium? The goal is to model boundary layer suction on an airfoil. I have thought of using porous media to model the perforated section of the airfoil as a momentum sink. Will Fluent resolve the wall shear stresses at the air porous medium interface?
