Hello,

I am new to cfd and am trying to understand the galerkin
method applied to the incompressible stationary Navier
Stokes equations.

In general it appears that the standard Galerkin method
gives poor numerical results.
For what kind of flow regime is the method valid ?
Also I would like to know how are the boundary conditions
taken into account at the numerical level ?

Thank you for any help.
