Default overset grid???

I have two codes with two different sets of structured grids, one in polar and the other one in Cartesian/multigrid. I need to transfer the physical properties (Vx, Vr, Vtheta, Pressure, etc.) between them at a specific location (x = -2m, from the open end) inside a duct. Would you give me some information that what is the best way to do this? Should I go through overset structured grids stuffs, or other methods??

Thanks,

Dave
