Can anyone recommend a paper or something that shows/discusses/etc the visualization of the viscous stress tensor (maybe something like the mag of the eigenvalues) for a flow field? The inclusion of boundary layers, shocks, wakes, and shear layers would be nice. The difference between NS and Euler is the viscous stress tensor. When the eigenvalues go to zero, it's Euler. I figure someone would write about it.
