Hello everyone.
Tomorrow I will be sitting an open-book CFD test which I can bring the paper back to my house. So I am looking forward to get massive guidance from you all to help me answering the questions next morning. Thank you |

Here is the test I had mentioned yesterday.
Neglect all the part A questions because I think the answers might be in the text book. So I am asking your help to do part B. Assume/treat me as a person who is totally knoob and knows nothing even the first law of thermodynamics. Thank you. Oh yes, the submission date is by this Wednesday. Help me real quick guys |

never mind sir, after 2 hours of studying the finite volume method, i have realized that question is so easy.
I have solved it just in 1 hour. By the way, the question asks us to determine temperature profile using finite volume method. I used 5 nodes with equal characteristic lengths (dx) to make discretized equation, ap= aw+ae+su in order to govern temperature equation of each node. Sound familiar? After obtaining all the temperature values, we can plot the profile using Mathlab; y-axis is for temperature and x-axis is for dx. Thank you anyway for your concern sir. I am from Malaysia, thats why my English sucks |
