Hi,
I'm toying with the idea to use a meshing software for our CFD simulations. Right now we're using Phoenics and the meshing is done by Phoenics (only structured meshing without blocking). Now I'm looking for a more convenience program for meshing. The main fields we're dealing with are simulations of HVAC systems and external wind simulations. This is why the simulation should cover following topis: 1) block-structured meshing for internal duct flow 2) structured / unstructured meshing inside rooms 3) structured / unstructured meshing for wind simulations (air flow around buildings including exhaust dispersion) In this forum ANSA, enGrid, GridPro and Pointwise/ Gridgen are listed. Are there any recommendations / comparisons concerning these software packages available? What are your experiences with the listed ones? Are there any other softwares available which would cover the mentioned tasks? Thanks in advance cheers wikie |
