growth rate -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

majidsvn7 New Member Majid Arjmandi Join Date: Oct 2018 Posts: 21 Rep Power: 7	Hi all, what is the accurate definition of value 1.2 growth rate of a simple mesh?! in other words, I wanna know what is the equivalent of growth rate of 1.2(or any other values) which can be used in Ansys or other software like that in openfoam by means of simpleGrading option in the blockMesh? If I know the exact definition of this growth rate (1.2 or any numbers), I can implement it in OpenFoam and I don't want the description of simpleGrading in blockMesh.
