Heey guys
I wanna mesh this heat sink. I wanna implement a heatflux thoruhg the channel walls and water to flow in the channels. I've my solid zone but I also need to define my fluid domain? In that case how do i define my fluid domain in the channels. Should I create a surface at the inlet and outlet of the channels ? and how about the interface between the fluid and the solid walls (channels)? I've attached a picture. Thank you. |

Hey,
I'm not really sure whether you still need an answer but I will reply. Yes, you need to create blocks resembling fluid domain and define inlets and outlets. Interfaces between solids and fluids are automatically created by Fluent and most of the time, they are correct. If not, you should define Named Selections in Ansys Meshing: one whith solid surfaces having contact with fluid and second with fluid surfaces having contact with solid - a pair for each channel. |
