Hi,
Can anyone give me an idea how to create a structured mesh on the dimples of golf ball? I am able to create structured mesh on a sphere but seems like the method could not apply on the golf ball. thanks in advanced |

It is some sort of slave work to create a block structured mesh with all the dimples but the topology might look like the attached picture.

Dear Qkarl,
I am a GridPro user but I didn't do the mesh myself. You should try to contact Peter Eiseman from GridPro. I guess he's the one who did the mesh and should be able to give you more details about it. |
