Good day to you all,
I come in hopes of finding a way to mesh the volume of air above a mountain (or other geografic feature) and export it to Comsol (or Ansys if it is easier) to perform CFD analysis.
My question is: forgetting my current setup below, what would be your approach to create a mesh from a Matlab mesh/.tif data?
What I want is a recipe to avoid having to repair or create code from scratch which would be extremely difficult or impossible with my very limited knowledge. There has to be such path but I am unable to find it and I am getting really desperate about that fact.
More info:
My current setup consists in some .tif data exported to Matlab and transformed into a matrix (if the value is 1 it belongs to the mesh, if it is zero it doesn't).
Then I tried to use a Matlab toolbox "iso2mesh" to create a tetrahedral volumetric mesh. That is successfully accomplished, but when the time comes to export the mesh to .mphtxt (Comsol mesh format) it invariably fails.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion!
