Hi everyone,
In the immersed boundary method tutorial of newly released foam -extend version ,4.1, the movingCylinderInChannelTurbulent case works well when runs in serial, but errors arise when runs in parallel. Firstly it aborts with messages of several missing keywords, but after these words being added it aborts again with the following massage: --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: [2] Inconsistent patch and patchField types for field k on patch ibCylinder patch type immersedBoundary and patchField type immersedBoundaryKqRWallFunction. I didn't change the sets of k,epsilon and omega files in the switch between serial and parallel running. I don't know what to do with it.Can anybody give some advice?Thank you |

I am facing the same problem. It seems the pimpleDyMIBFoam is imperfect in foamextend 4.1. Have you solved this problem?
