Dear all,
I am happy to announce the first release (v1.0.1) of my incompressible granular rheology module for OpenFOAM. It follows the classical mu(I) granular rheology theory as well as a regularized mu(I) rheology, both described in: https://doi.org/10.1017/jfm.2017.428 The module compiles with OpenFOAM 8 and should work for many other versions. Any incompressible solver that does not solve for energy and thus utilizes a viscosity module from the transportModels should be able to use it. You can find the code, basic examples and description on Github: https://github.com/alexjarosch/OpenFOAM-muI Happy granular Foaming! Alex |
