Default Hello, When I try to source

sandbox is on a distinguished road
Hello,

When I try to source the following error occurs..(Note I am logged in as root)

box:/home # . .bashrc
bash:/home/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4/.OpenFOAM-1.4/bashrc: Permission denied

Could someone please help me resolve this issue?
