Hi,
I can work with runFoamX as long as I don't change my IP address. How do I use dynamic IP adresses and keep OpenFOAM running. |

Are you running on your local machine?
runFoamX uses the name of the machine. Have a look inside the script. It gets the hostname ($HOSTNAME) either from your FoamXClient.cfg file or from `uname -n`. Either way your o.s. should adapt the tables such that the hosntame resolves to the correct IP address. Alternatively set in the FoamXClient.cfg the org.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialHost variable to 'localhost' which should be a special address. (127.0.0.1) which always resolves to your local machine. |
