help-cmake(openfoam) installation

Hi i am new to ubuntu-9.10(linux). i want to install openfoam.
i have read that before installing openfoam we should install these packages cmake g++ flex++ bison python qt4-designer binutils-dev zlib1g-dev. i tried installing cmake but getting some problems.Can someone tell me how to install cmake,g++,etc so that finally i can try installing openfoam. thanks in advance |

Hi Shikhar,
You should be able to install all that stuff using the synaptic package manager in Ubuntu. Have you tried that?
