Hi all,

I want to simulate flow discharged from a partly submerged pipe into a domain (see attachment). The upper top of the pipe is the inlet and the lower is open though which the flow can go to the outer domain. The curved surface of the pipe is a wall with no thickness. I attempted to use snappyHexMesh tool to insert this pipe into the block but it always cut off the outer part of the pipe.

Is there anyone dealing with this type of geometry before? Is it possible to make it using existing OF tools? If yes, how? I look forward to your comments.

Thanks,
Simon
