Hello there, I am a beginner to openFoam and GMSH. I am working on a 3D simulation of E387 wing at the moment. I have been given the coordinate points and from there I create the 2D surface and the extrusion of the 2D surface becomes my 3D wing. For the meshing, I used a C-grid and it is created from forming 2 quarter circle and rotate 90 degrees, followed by extrusion using the rotated surfaces.

I have created a coarse grid and the mesh is shown below,

I then exported the msh to openFoam, and after running gmshToFoam command, it killed itself during the progress,

I have attached both my geo files to create the mesh, and the openfoam 0, constant and system files below for your reference.

Please enlighten me what could be the reason for this issue and how can I solve it ? Thank you in advance !

Hi there, I am kind of fighting with the same problem. I am trying to model a heat exchange pack and receiving problems when converting the .msh file with gmshToFoam. Could you upload your .msh file as well?

Problem is now solved. The reason behind the error was one blank line at the very end of my *.msh file.
