Hi everyone ,
I'm facing some problems creating mesh via blockMesh. my vertices , blocks and arcs are mentioned below. Could you please help me with ? without running blockMesh, how can I see my vertex and arcs? parafoam -block just is available after crerating blockMesh , do we have sth if there are even errors in blockMesh ? I'm attaching necessary files from error as well as verex and blocks and edges . Regards Maral |

Hi,
Without running blockMesh there is no mesh for OF to show you any details. You can try writing out your geometry to a VTK format (the legacy type) and then load that in Paraview: http://www.vtk.org/wp-content/upload...le-formats.pdf The error you encounter is the most common type of error in blockMesh. Basically the "face x has no ... " means that the vertices you have used to define the face DO NOT define a face. Most of the time this error is caused by an incorrect vertex numbering of a face. I have provided a solution in a few of the posts here, so perhaps you can take a look at that. Hope this helps. Cheers, Antimony |
