[blockMesh] broken mesh generated

Default broken mesh generated

created a simple 3-D mesh using blockmesh.

On viewing a clipped view , i see mesh to be broken(see attachment). Why is that?
Will it affect my processing?

This looks like artifacts of the clipping in paraview. You can get rid of it by selecting "Crinkle clip" in the Properties tab of the Clip.
