HI ,
I am developing a cyclinder with an internal hole, as I run blockMesh command, The error stated: Inconsistent number of faces between block pair 0 and 3. From function blockMesh::createMergeList() in file createMergeList.C at line 196. I have check my code and has verified show be ok. Anyone knows what's the problem? Thank you watashiwa |

Have you left your mergePatchPairs empty? For quite a while this function has not been active/working at all, at least for what I can remember in the 1.5 version. I think your best way to do this is to "create" the hole the hard way, instead of subtracting it - if I understand you right.
Considering a pipe you should be careful to always to specify you blocks and patches according to the fig. on p. 134 in the (1.6) manual. |
