Dear all,
Kindly help me a little with mesh generation using snappyHexMesh. I am not completely new to openFoam but for some reason the proper functionality of snappyHexMesh eludes me. What I want to do is basic: I want to create a rectangular tube with more mesh cells near the boundaries than the middle of the tube. This can be done with snappy right? However, for the easy test case that I created, I see now change or refinement in the geometry after I've run snappyHexMesh. I'll attach the so anybody can generate the mesh. Can you somebody please tell me what I am missing and how I can accomplish my simple goal? Also advice or pointers to other threads explaining the usage of snappyHexMesh will be very appreciated. Thank you and regards, Ammar. |
