Ho everybody!
I am a complete newby in the world of CFD and OpenFoam + gmsh in particular.
For this reason i am trying with tutorial files. First i try to solve a demo file of openfoam and all is working fine; then i 've tried with a demo file taken from gmsh with extension .geo ; i have created in a total automatic way the mesh file with extension msh; now i would like to convert it, but i don't know how to do and all my trials have gone bad.
I have created the folders as requested, in particular "constant" and "system". Inside "constant" i have created "polyMesh" and inside system i have put the files controlDict fvschemes and fvSolutions. Now i don't know exactly where i have to put my msh file, but i have tried in almost all the locations. When I call the funciton gmshToFoam i get this kind of error. May anyone help me? Thank you very much for your help.

HI,
what you can do, is simply take an original case Folder example, lets say the "cavity" test case from icoFoam tutorials or any other one.
Then you just place your .msh file directly inside the "cavity" Folder, then you do "gmshToFoam". It should be OK (don't forget to include for physical surfaces and volume in your mesh inside gmsh). Good Luck
