Icem should be able to export the mesh to Fluent format. Afterwards you can use fluent3DMeshToFoam. It handles multiple regions well. If you prefix the internal faces with inte_* they are properly recognized as faceZones. The same goes for fluid_* for fluids, solid_* for solids which creates the cellZones. wall_*, inflow_* outflow_* creates the appropriate patches.

I think I already told you what to do:
Use the naming convention I mentioned above in your Icem project. Export the mesh to fluent fomat Run fluent3dMeshToFoam on the exported mesh. Probably there will be errors as fluent3dMeshToFoam requires some OpenFoam project files like controlDict in your system folder. Maybe there are others. The steps required are also dependent on what you are up to with your mesh. Check if there are tutorials matching your task and try to run them first. Afterwards adapt the tutorial to your case. |

According to your method, I have tried it, but it only generate a polymesh folder. I need a polymesh for fluid and one for solid. |
