[snappyHexMesh] Automatic generation of sHMD and bMD

Hello,

I would like to write a plug-in for FreeCAD, which is able to generate a simple geometry (a box, a sphere), save it in ASCII STL format and create blockMeshDict and snappyHexMeshDict using the geometry data. The first part of this task is easy, but I don't really know how to integrate it with meshers in order to automatize the mesh generation process. Could you give me any hints how to overcome this problem?

we have a free OpenFOAM connector which works with STL files and generates SHM inputs, you can also sign up to demo the full version which connects to several CAD packages and files.
