Hi all,

I am new to the concept of moving meshes. I would like to simulate flow in a lobe supercharger with two lobes. I am unable to understand how to approach the problem of mesh deformation when the lobes rotate.

I have found one thesis explaining gear pumps at this thread - http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...gear-pump.html

But the process involves remeshing which will take up huge processing power.

My question is, is there any way other than remeshing at intervals to solve the problem?
Or is it possible to remesh only a part of the deformed mesh?
